Duda Gorter
Cannes Marché du Film Featured Director
Duda Gorter is a Brazilian filmmaker and screenwriter who began her career in theater before moving into film. She has worked as an actress, director, producer, and screenwriter across a wide range of productions. Her acclaimed work has earned over 220 awards at film festivals in Brazil and internationally.
Sanyukta Shrestha
BAFTA Award Winner
Nepalese filmmaker, animator, and art historian who directed Nepal’s first animated feature film, The Legend of Shankhadhar. His latest film, Jaye Lakhay, has won multiple Best Animated Film awards worldwide. A BAFTA Award recipient, he is recognized as a pioneer of Nepalese animation.
Wendy Bednarz
NYU Film Professor & Director (TIFF & Venice Alumni)
Wendy Bednarz is an award-winning filmmaker and visual artist. Her debut feature film, Yellow Bus, earned multiple international awards, establishing her as a distinctive voice in contemporary cinema and visual storytelling.
Cheryl Jacobs Crim
EMMY® Winning Director (ESPN & PBS)
Cheryl Jacobs (CJ) Crim is an award-winning filmmaker with over 30 years of experience in directing, producing, and editing documentaries and television programs. She has earned 12 Regional Emmy Awards and multiple international honors. Her debut feature film Resisterhood reflects storytelling.
Joni Ravenna
TV Writer & Host (PBS, ESPN)
Joni Ravenna is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright, and journalist educated at the University of Southern California. She has written and hosted TV programs for PBS, E!, and ESPN, including Earth Trek and Great Sports Vacations. She is co-author of YOU LET SOME GIRL BEAT YOU? – The Ann Meyers Drysdale Story.
